Tree of life.. was a good movie. However, if someone asks me to recommend a movie, it probably would not be the first or second or third in my mind. The movie demands much, but does not give back much. Maybe it depends on a mood. Last night, I was pensive about the movie, but today as I try to write about it, I am realizing that I have not really received much from Malick to even organize my thought.
Not that I have no clue, but the pieces of puzzle that I have in my hands are not enough to even guess the grand picture. However, the movie is undoubtedly worth digging.
It was definitely an interesting and thought provoking movie. I think that my level of comprehension is not in such level to discuss about this movie. How can a kid, who does not know an alphabet, read a book? All he can do is stare at it.
Yesterday, I have stared at the movie.
Maybe next time, it will be my first time watching it.
