The Rocky Saga: Themes

Now many people have heard of Sylvester Stallone and Rocky.  However, how many of the Rocky movies have actually seen?  Maybe the first and last but what about the rest.  It has got some of the greatest themes n my book.

For Rocky I it's a story of against all odds with two outcasts who fall in love.  A lonely boxer who has a chance to become the heavyweight champion of the world, who all he wants to prove to the world and himself that he can at least last throughout the whole boxing match.

For Rocky II it's about a who finds what is his true calling is what a devoted family must do to provide for his family.  Despite the wishes of his wife and his manager, Rocky is going to prove to the world that he wasn't a fluke the last time he was in the ring.

In Rocky III, it's a story of a man who is trying to return to his more humble state and and all the work that it took for him to become as successful as he rightfully should be.

Rocky IV is about guilt, and trying to save the honor of America.  Also it contains themes of naivety, and being more or less manufactured by someone else.

Rocky V is about going back to where you began and not letting someone get blinded by money and fame.

Rocky Balboa is about loss, estrangement and proving to the world that the last thing that ages in a person is the heart.
