MoriahHaglund // Introduction

Hey guys! My name is Moriah Haglund and I am a Film major here at Huntington University.  I am from Howell, Michigan- which is halfway between Detroit and Lansing.  An interesting  fact about me is growing up I was homeschooled by my mom all throughout my school years.

One hobby I am passionate about is photography.  Photography amazes me. Camera work truly is an incredible art form; the way you can portray moods, thoughts, feelings through a lens which can cause others to feel it as well is something I love to admire and accomplish.  When I was 15 years old my parents purchased me my first DSLR camera for Christmas. I quickly became quite engrossed in pursuing portrait photography, I would beg my friends and cousins to be my willing subjects as I took posed and candid shots of them.  Now, I get asked to take photos for people, and I have been hired many times to photograph high school seniors, children, families, and couples.

As for being a Film major, I hope to study Film as an art form and have the opportunities to portray the same kinds of moods, thoughts, and feelings through film as I do through photographs.

I am so thankful for the gifts and talents God has given me, and I am ready and willing to be able to give them back to Him for His use and glory.  I cannot wait to see what He has in store for me and all my fellow students at Huntington University!

See you all in class! :)
