Well this past weekend I watched the movie Donnie Darko which is a psychological thriller for those of you who haven't heard of it. I really enjoyed the movie and I thought I would blog about the re-watch value of one of my newer favorite movie genres Psych. thriller. I think movies like this have so much rewatch value to me is becasue the first time I see the movie I don't come close to understanding all the little things in the movie that won't be caught till the 5th time you watch the movie. Even if the movie isn't a psych thriller I think any movie that is sophisticated enough that the general audience won't exactly understand the movie than for me it has some rewatch value. Here are a few movies that I find have some rewatch value..but I wouldn't suggest watching any without researching what their about so you don't dig yourself into a moral hole.
American Psycho is one of my favorite movies of all time, I'm so thrilled that someone else on this campus has seen it. And I agree, I could rewatch Donnie Darko today and still find new things about it. I think Fight Club is the best example though, as every time I watch that I find something new that adds to the overall story. I've seen it like 10 times now and I have yet to be bored by it.
