Camera Matters
I was on a film shoot this weekend. I was doing sound. Occasionally I would look at the monitor and see what the camera saw. We were shooting on the RED Scarlet. I had shot with this camera before and really enjoyed it, but I must have forgotten how great the camera really was. The locations we were at were beautiful, but through the RED they looked like a Hollywood movie set. I saw some of the footage on the computer last night and I was blown away by how cinematic the footage looked. It's important to know how to tell a story, and have good audio, but what camera you use can greatly impact the look and quality of your film. I was reminded of that this weekend.
